Gilbarco signs service and maintenance agreement to support Mer’s EV charging network expansion
Basildon, UK, 18 May 2023 – Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company (NYSE: VNT) has signed a Service and Maintenance agreement with European EV charging company Mer, which will provide valuable support to Mer’s extensive charging network across the UK.
As Mer continues to roll out EV charging solutions for public, fleets and workplaces, this Service and Maintenance agreement will see Gilbarco Veeder-Root provide its recognised aftermarket service for preventative and reactive maintenance across its AC and DC public charging fleet. The collaboration will result in a strong, user-friendly, and reliable EV charging network to support and encourage growing EV adoption in the UK.
Gilbarco Veeder-Root has been at the forefront of fuelling networks for over 150 years and as a worldwide technology leader, continues to apply everything it has learned to deliver trusted EV charging networks.

The partnership with Mer is the second recent announcement whereby Gilbarco Veeder-Root has signed agreements with EV charging solutions companies to provide its leading aftermarket service. This includes installation and maintenance for rapid EV charging company Kempower’s DC chargers across Northern Europe and the UK.
